4 At ang mga anak ni Israel ay nangatakot, sapagkat marami ang kalaban at kakaunti lamang ang kanilang tabak.

5 Ngunit si Moses ay tumindig sa gitna nila, at ang kanyang mukha ay nagliliwanag sa ilalim ng apoy ng kampo.

6 At sinabi niya, “Huwag kayong manginig, sapagkat ang kamay ng Dakilang Isa ay nasa atin.”

7 At iniangat niya ang espada ng apoy na ipinagkaloob sa kanya, at ang langit ay kumidlat, at ang liwanag ay dumaloy sa kanyang mga mata.

8 At siya’y nagsalita ng unang oracion ng kalasag, at ang kanyang tinig ay dumagundong sa hangin: ESHADARIEL RAMON ETHA SHALMAKOR ZETHA-EL!

9 At ang lupa ay umuga, at mula sa buhangin ay lumabas ang bilog na liwanag na parang salamin, na pumalibot sa kanya.

10 At ang mga sundalo ay nagsidapa sa lupa, sapagkat ang ningning ng liwanag ay nakasisilaw.

11 At sinabi ng tinig ng Panginoon, “Ito ang kalasag ng katawang banal; walang patalim ang makalulusot, sapagkat ito’y gawa sa Aking Espiritu.

26 At naramdaman ni Gideon ang lakas na dumaloy sa kanyang laman, at ang kanyang dugo ay nagningning gaya ng kidlat sa gabi.

27 At sinabi ng Panginoon, “Pagpapalain ko ang iyong mga kamay sa digmaan, at ikaw ay magiging tagapagdala ng Aking Liwanag.”

28 Kaya’t bumalik si Gideon sa kanyang bayan, at tinipon ang lahat ng mga anak ni Abiezer, at ang kanyang tinig ay gaya ng tambuli na tumatawag sa mga mandirigma.

29 At sa kanyang puso ay nananatili ang tunog ng mga salitang narinig niya:

KODESH-ELIONA, NUR ADONAI, SHEM-ORIM TZUR-HAKAVOD!

30 At nang siya’y tumingala sa langit, nakita niya ang mga bituin na nagsasayaw, at ang kanilang mga liwanag ay bumuo ng tanda ng espada na nakaturo sa Silangan.

3 At sa tuktok ng Bundok ng Langit, bumaba si San Miguel na may tangan na isang gintong kopa na puno ng apoy, at sumisigaw: “O kayong mga humatol ng mali, kayong mga lumapastangan sa Aklat ng Buhay, ngayon ay darating sa inyo ang Ulan ng Apoy!”

4 At isinumpa niya ang lupa sa pamamagitan ng oracion: “Esh Rafa-Rafa El Elyon Saganium Flamma Dei!”

5 At biglang bumuka ang mga ulap, at bumaba ang apoy na tila mga pulang palaso na dumudurog sa mga muog ng kasamaan.

6 Ngunit bago tuluyang tumama ang galit ng Langit, lumitaw ang Pitong Tagapagdala ng Ulan ng Apoy—sila ang mga nilikhang mula sa apoy ng Diyos, tagapagdala ng Paghuhukom.

7 Ang una ay si Azuriel, ang Tagapagsunog ng mga Altar ng Idolo, at sa kanyang palad ay nakaukit ang oracion: “Ignis Purificare Domus Iniquitatis.”
